Will Close’s brilliant production ‘Mediocre White Male’ has been nominated for the OffFest award, an award given to celebrate the best in festival theatre, as part of the OffWestEnd 2021 awards ceremony. Staged at Assembly Roxy as part of this year’s Edinburgh Fringe festival,  ‘Mediocre White Male’ is a monologue about the dangers of the male bravado during a time where social change, particularly that of gender politics, is at its peak. If you weren’t able to make it up to the Scottish capital to see the piece live on stage, you can still catch it at the Shedinburgh Fringe Festival where it will be screened on 30th August 2021.
