Steve Punt and The Now Show team returned this June with two new specials on BBC Radio 4.

On Sunday 19th at 7:15pm Steve Punt and Hugh Dennis present a-near-to-live-as-you-can-get special on the EU Referendum – The Vote Now Show: EU and Yours and then on June 30th The Now Show: 1916, a non-topical special edition based around the First World War.

The Vote Now Show: EU and Yours and will be recorded and broadcast on the same day. With the polls opening on June 23rd it is sure to have the most up-to-date satirical take on all the goings on from the Leave and Remain camps. Featuring  Gemma Arrowsmith as a guest performer make sure you tune in to hear The Now Show’s unique comic take on whether we stay or go.

Broadcast as part of a BBC season commemorating the events of 1916, The Now Show: 1916 will cover everything from wartime humour and art, to the politics and propaganda. The BBC vow that its humour will be ‘a good degree more tasteful than the jokes told in the trenches’.
