Joshua Rozenberg is back presenting the new series of Radio 4’s long-running legal magazine programme, Law in Action, Tuesdays at 4pm.

In the third instalment, which aired on Nov 8th, Joshua explores how the courts have dealt with Brexit and how this latest chapter in Britain’s exit from the EU – the fallout from which has seen highly personal attacks on England’s most senior judges, as the ideological divisions seen in the run up to the referendum vote were exposed once more.

In the first programme of the new series, Joshua spoke to the head of the Crown Prosecution Service – the Director of Public Prosecutions Alison Saunders about increasing the success rate of rape prosecutions, and the new challenges social media is presenting for the justice system. In he following episode Joshua discussed the laws designed to counter terrorism and extremism with former GCHQ director Sir David Omand, and about how the strategies were devised and if they strike the right balance between stopping violent attacks and protecting our civil liberties.
