Tom recently appeared as a series regular in the US TV series The Royals on the E! Network. He can be heard in the Prix Europa-nominated podcast sitcom Wooden Overcoats for which he is also a series writer. His modernised stage adaptation of Charles Dickens’s Great Expectations was published by Methuen in December 2017.
Tom’s extensive writing credits include the BAFTA winning The Amazing World of Gumball (Cartoon Network), Four Sad Faces (BBC Radio 4), The Now Show (BBC Radio 4), The News Quiz (BBC Radio 4) as well as being the playwright behind the stage adaptation of the Rocky Horror sequel Shock Treatment (King’s Head Theatre, 2015). He has also written a number of stage comedies for children at the Trinity Theatre, Tunbridge Wells.
As the founder and Artistic Director of Crowley & Co, a creative production company, Tom has produced and directed his own play Ghost City (Vault Festival 2015, Festival Spirit Award nominee), two-week takeover The Locker (Vault Festival 2016, including David K. Barnes’s The Awkward Ghost), Felix Trench’s Radioman (Old Red Lion Theatre 2016) and Molly Beth Morossa’s Greywing House (London Horror Festival, Vault 2017).
Tom co-created and hosts the popular variety show The Night which has been performed at Brasserie Zédel, The Bill Murray, VAULT Festival and various other venues since April 2017. His solo sketch comedy podcast, Crowley Time, is available on all good podcast platforms now.
Tom is a graduate of the Royal Court Young Writers Programme and the King’s Head Trainee Director Scheme.
Tom has a wonderfully warm and engaging tone. Gentle on the ear he envelopes the listener with reassurance and encouragement. That and his ability to conjure up a multitude of characters make him a great addition to any voice over cast.
