Matthew is a Scottish actor and writer.

He has just finished in David Leddy’s The Last Bordello at the Tron and the Traverse, and has recently appeared in A Love Song to Lavender Menace at the Edinburgh Lyceum. He has worked extensively with Oran Mor, and his own play – To Kill a Kelpie – has toured the US and off-Broadway.

He is also well known for his role as Raymond in Me Too! on CBeebies, and is a highly experienced pantomime performer alongside that. His other television includes River City and Taggart.

Alongside his acting and writing, Matthew is well known for his tireless campaigning for the abolition of the statute of limitations on reporting child abuse, for which he walked 10,000 miles to every European capital, across thirty two countries.

He has addressed many European parliaments on the issue, plus the Council of Europe and the UN on several occasions.
