Jen is a BAFTA nominated writer, presenter and performer from London.

Starting her comedy career as part of sketch-duo ‘Jiggle and Hyde’ she completed her first Edinburgh Fringe run in 2016. The following year she took her first solo character comedy show ‘Girl in Da Corner’ for a full Edinburgh Fringe run. The show was inspired by the responses to this article written by Jen about her Anglo-Indian heritage for Gal-Dem. Following her solo Edinburgh Fringe run, the show then transferred to Soho Theatre. She then performed her own solo comedy set in the BBC tent at Edinburgh Fringe the following year which was aired on BBC iplayer, as part of the BBC Asian Network comedy event.

 

Radio Credits include:

BBC Radio 1– The Comeback podcast- Main Presenter. Jen interviewed comedians and personalities such as London Hughes, Jamali Maddix, Amelia Dimoldenber (Chicken Shop dates), Tolani T (The Reciepts Podcast), Sophie Duker, Olga Koch, Lauren Pattinson, Sarah Keyworth, Chris Washington and sketch performers and podcast hosts Birthday Girls.

Branded podcast for Laybuy: ‘Consumerosity’-Main Presenter. Jen hosted six episodes alongside Alex Rohloff the Co-Founder of Laybuy. The podcast focused on ‘Millenial Money Myths’ and how to tackle them whilst interviewing financial experts on the show (tyto PR)

BBC Radio 4: Wisebowm- ‘The Struggle is Real’- Jen played Katie Storm, a pretentious Slam Poet from East London. Cast members included creator Steve Whiteliey and Ricky Grover (Snipper Nixon Productions)

 

Television credits include:

Jen has also presented four episodes of the ‘Puffin Storytellers Show’ (Penguin Random House.) Jen interviewed authors such as Eoin Colfer, Karyn Parsons,Humza Arshard and Sam Copeland. She has also worked as a presenter on musical pilots for Three Stones Media (Rastamouse, Apple Tree House CBBC)
