Fiona Bruce is one of the BBC’s biggest names. She has recently taken on the role of Chair for the BBC’s flagship programme Question Time and is the BBC news’ most senior female anchor, having presented the six and ten o’clock news since 1999. She has also presented The Antiques Roadshow (BBC1) since 2007 and the BBC’s most successful arts series Fake or Fortune since 2000, as well as many of the BBC’s live events including William and Kate’s wedding. She has won numerous awards for best presenter and RTS awards for her journalism, most recently News Presenter of the Year at TRIC in 2019 and 2020.



Fiona has hosted two series of the quiz, Hive Minds, for BBC4. Previously she presented Crimewatch from 1999 – 2007 and presented and reported on the prime time award winning current affairs series Real Story with Fiona Bruce, on BBC1, from 2003-2007. In 2001 Fiona became the first female presenter to be part of the General Election Results Programme. Fiona wrote and presented for BBC1 The Queen’s Palaces ( 2011 ),  Victoria – A Royal Love Story ( 2010 ) and Leonardo ( 2012 ). She has written and presented documentaries about Lord Alan Sugar, Bill Gates and Cherie Blair and perhaps most notably she presented ITV’s Prince Philip at 90 for which she interviewed Prince Philip. She also gave Jeremy Clarkson a run for his money in two appearances on Top Gear.


Fiona started at the BBC as a researcher on the BBC Panorama programme in 1989. She became a reporter on the current affairs series Public Eye and First Sight before returning as a reporter to Panorama and then Newsnight. 


She is also a published author: ‘Savvy – the modern woman’s guide to doing all without risking it all’ was published in 2008


She has facilitated numerous conferences, hosted awards and presented live from exhibitions.
