Anna Morris is an award-winning comedy writer and actress.
She’s written her five one-woman character comedy shows which have received critical acclaim and had sell-out runs around the world: Dolly Mixture, Would Like to Thank, It’s Got to be Perfect (Winner – Best Show 2016, Funny Women Awards), Bitchelors and Bombastic.
Anna has starred in BBC1s Outnumbered, BBC1s Count Arthur Strong and ITV’s comedy entertainment show Bad Bridesmaid, which she also wrote.
This year she played a lead role in Channel 4’s smash-hit improvised sitcom Lee and Dean as Pippa Bryce D’Souza. She’s currently filming the second series which will air in 2019.
She has written for The Paul O’Grady Show, Man Stroke Woman, and Veep Producer Stephanie Laing’s PYPO. She also has her own YouTube Channel which features her viral web series Georgina’s Wedding Blogs. She’s currently writing two sitcoms with Lee and Dean’s Mark O’Sullivan.
