Anita Anand has been a radio and television journalist for almost twenty years. She is the presenter of Any Answers, the political phone-in on BBC Radio 4. She was a presenter on Drive and The Anita Anand Show on BBC Radio 5 Live. She also presents the acclaimed Reith Lectures for BBC Radio 4.

On television Anita has presented The Daily Politics on BBC 2, The Sunday Politics and Newsnight. She has also presented The Westminster Hour, and Beyond Westminster. Anita has interviewed five Indian Prime Ministers, three from Pakistan and Great Britain and one from Bangladesh. She also appeared in the 2018 feature film The Spy Who Dumped Me alongside Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon.

Anita is the author of Sophia, Princess, Suffragette, Revolutionary, published by Bloomsbury in 2015, the bestselling Koh-i-Noor, the world’s most infamous diamond in 2017 and her most recent book The Patient Assassin was published by Simon & Schuster UK in April 2019.
