British Comedy Guide have announced the nominees for their Comedy.co.uk Awards 2020. The 357 new British comedy shows that appeared on TV and radio in 2020 have been whittled down to a shortlist of just 60 and we are thrilled that so many Noel Gay clients are included.

Nominated for Best Radio Sketch Show are Austentatious (Amy Cooke-Hodgson and Daniel Nils Roberts), Dead Ringers (Laurence Howarth) and Newsjack (Gemma Arrowsmith).

Best Radio Entertainment Show includes nominations for Robin Ince for The Infinite Monkey Cage and The Now Show with Steve Punt and Gemma Arrowsmith.

Mock the Week is nominated for Best TV Panel Show with Steve Punt and appearances from Sukh Ojla.

Ayesha Hazarika can be seen in Best TV Entertainment Show nominee The Last Leg and Best Radio Panel Show nominees The News Quiz and Breaking the News.

The Best TV Sketch nominees include The Emily Atack Show, featuring Bryony Twydle and Maddy Anholt, and the return of Spitting Image with writing from Gemma Arrowsmith and Brona C Titley.

Sophie Fletcher appeared in the series 2 of Best Returning TV Sitcom nominee After Life from Ricky Gervais and also plays Jane in Katherine Ryan’s The Duchess, nominated for Best New TV Sitcom.
