Brenda Emmanus recently presented Dancing Nation, a three-part celebration of world-class dance featuring many of the UK’s leading companies and the most exciting new emerging talent.

Brenda is a hugely revered presenter known for her passionate and thought provoking arts documentaries – her BBC4 documentary Whoever Heard of a Black Artist was nominated for a Screen Nation Award in 2018. She is also the the arts, culture and entertainment correspondent for BBC Network and BBC London News and co-presents the BBCs coverage of the RA’s Summer Exhibition.

Presented by Brenda as part of BBC Arts’ Culture in Quarantine, Dancing Nation is a unique festival brought together in lockdown by Sadler’s Wells, London – one of the world’s leading dance houses. Originally broadcast on 28th January, you can catch up on iPlayer here if you missed it.
