Presenter and journalist Anita Anand has been announced as the presenter for the BBC’s historic Reith Lectures for the 2018 series. The Reith Lectures, which were first broadcast 70 years ago, are a staple of the BBC’s annual programming and aim to advance public understanding and debate about significant issues of contemporary interest.

Scheduled to be recorded in June, this year’s lectures will be delivered by historian Professor Margaret MacMillan, who will address the themes of war and humanity. You can find out more information about the series and listen to past lectures here.
