  • Dr Pam Spurr has written 10 self-help books, a number of which she has rewritten/edited for a number of other countries. She has a weekly advice column in The Times Times 2, Therapy Notes, as well as weekly columns in the popular women's magazine Love It!, and on MSN and The Nest. She writes features for many of the national newspapers sas well as regularly providing content for the glossy magazines. Dr Pam also has a thriving PR consultancy where much of activity revolves around written commentary.

    From June 03 to October 04: Wrote weekly advice and points of view column for The People newspaper on Sundays.

    From Nov 1996 to June 2003: wrote for the News of the World - Dr. Pam Spurr's World of Amazing Sex- a weekly column for The News of the World from April 2001 to June 2003.

    Previously she had a weekly column in Sunday Magazine (NotW) and a weekly feature - Your Sleeping Self analysing celebrity dreams.

    Wrote regular features for Sunday magazine from 1996 to 2003. These contributions often took the form of quizzes devised in relation to women's problems. For example, Are You A Natural Born Worrier?rand Are You A Control Freak?appeared in recent issues along side 'case studies' that Pam interviewed.

    Pam contributes to numerous magazines including Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Zest, She, New Woman, and was the 'love doctor' for Cosmopolitan Bride in 2002/3.

    As well as her internet columns Dr Pam does webchats for various sites and writes features for a variety of websites including The Nest.com, MSN, Ivillage and Orange.

    PR:

    Dr. Pam's PR consultancy gets busier and busier with activity provided to campaigns from Dior to Daz. She has worked extensively with the hair loss specialists, Regaine. She also contributed to a number of PR campaigns that involved communicating information from surveys in interesting and meaningful ways for the public. These campaigns included: Christian Dior product launch, Rosemount Wines, Women's Hair Loss Internet service, Regaine, Calpol, Organon Labs, four separate Daz campaigns - Are the British less reserved? Personality types, and 'Post holiday syndrome'. Vauxhall Vectra - Road Rage - causes and how to prevent it. A second Vauxhall campaign for the new 'Flex 7' car system. Two further Vauxhall campaigns. Cellnet - Three 'dating' campaigns. Robinson's Fruit and Barley - Liberate Lunchtime for young working women under stress. Bread for Life - The Pressure to be Perfect. Link cash machine network - romance and spending habits. Kimberley-Clark - raising the awareness of the hidden problem of incontinence.
