For the past 20 years Danny has been a leading journalist, publisher and broadcaster in the fields of sport and music. He is the former editor of the music weekly New Musical Express. His book, Classic Football Debates: Settled Once and for All, co-written with Danny Baker, has recently been published by Ebury.

Danny has written for many newspapers and magazines The Times with fellow sports fanatic Danny Baker, the Radio Times, Arena and GQ.

Danny was the Founder and Publishing Director of 365 Corporation, Britain’s top Internet publisher, home of market leading titles like Football365, Planet Rugby and Cricketline, prior to which he was the Managing Editor of Total Sport, Britain’s first multi-sports monthly.
