Last year Mary-Ann presented the documentary Silbury Hill: The Heart of the Hill for BBC4's Archaeology Night, exploring the lives and rituals of our prehistoric ancestors. She also featured as the anthropologist on the Expert Panel of BBC2’s Identity.
Mary-Ann holds a Masters Degree in Archaeology and Anthropology from Cambridge University, and has completed varied research and field study in the UK and abroad. She continues to travel extensively worldwide and is currently writing her first book, a popular anthropology of the human body.
She’s a keen UK scuba diver (PADI Divemaster in training, BSAC Dive Leader in training), and an experienced horse rider.
